The Department of Construction Engineering, was established in 2009 as an outgrowth of the School of Energy Engineering. Currently, the School offers two BSc programs. They areCivil Engineering and Water Supply and Drainage Engineering.
The Department has a staff of 15, among whom 1 is professor, and 4 are associate professors. Currently it has a student body of 642.
The Civil Engineering Training Base is affiliated with the Department.
Civil Engineering (a four-year BSc program)
Objectives:to train students to become highly specialized personnel who, upon graduation, have basic knowledge and skills in civil engineering, the abilities and originality of qualified engineers and the ability to undertake such work as design, implementation and management of civil engineering projects.
Courses offered:Advanced Mathematics, Theoretical Mechanics, Material Mechanics, Structure Mechanics, Hydromechanics, Earth Mechanics and Foundation Engineering, Drawing Geometry, Engineering Drafting and Computer Drafting, Engineering Survey, Civil Engineering Construction, Construction Quality Analysis, Project Budget and Budgetary Estimate, House Building, Concrete Structure Design, Steel Structure Design, Anti-earthquake of Engineering Structure, Civil Engineering Structure Test, Electricity in Building.
Water Supply and Drainage Engineering (a four-year BSc program)
Objectives:to train students to become highly specialized technicians who are competent for planning, designing, implementing, operating, and managing projects related to civil water supply and drainage engineering, industrial water supply and drainage engineering, water supply construction and drainage engineering, water pollution control and planning, and water conservancy.
